Health issues

When I was a smoker, I have to admit, the smoke was good and it was also the worst thing in my life. The smell was toxic, the feeling I got was sicking (cold palms, fast heartbeat, soar throat, chest pains) you name it. My tongue even started to hurt. I smoked still because there was no alternative to smoking and I thought i wanted/needed it...
The truth is, it was killing me. My heart was suffering, my social life suffered and before I knew it, I only hung around other smokers. I think misery does love company. The fact that there was no smoking alternative kept me smoking. I wanted to quit but the cigarette was my friend, my companion when I was alone, and it gave me something to do. It kept me entertained and it was like an enemy who kept me like a close friend...

I found about Blu electric cigarettes through a friend who recently passed (ironically enough died from smoking). He was the smartest person I knew and yet could not shake cigarettes. By the time he started using electronic cigarettes, the damage had been done. He had throat cancer and had a hole in his neck. The guy was in his mid 50's but man do cigarettes take a toll.

I dont touch cigarettes anymore and although I would eventually like to quit smoking anything all together, the vapor from electric cigarettes just does not do the same damage tobacco does. So far, I noticed i breath better, have more energy and I still have a companion when I take breaks and such. Im not saying the extra energy and general feel good is due to the electronic cigarette (no), what I am saying is I eliminated the reason for the lethargy and other bad stuff tobacco brought my way.

Thanks Tim!

And thanks for this site, it played a major role in my switching...
